The King Room featured a cozy atmosphere with clean linens and a solid fan that worked well for comfort. Proximity to San Francisco Bay offered a refreshing, scenic view, perfect for taking in the local vibe.

The absence of air conditioning may be tough for some, especially during warmer days. however, the fan mitigated much of the discomfort. I found the strong artificial air freshener overbearing, so I had to crack open a window, which helped but should ideally not be necessary.

Staying here with my family was great. We enjoyed our time at Adventure Playground, which had so many fun activities for the kids, from climbing structures to creative play. The nearby neighborhood offered great dining options we could easily explore after a day of fun!

For dads, it would be great to have air conditioning for a more comfortable stay.

The room had a mini fridge and microwave, great for leftovers. Super clean with a comfortable bed. Loved the plush towels and spacious desk. Plus, there was a friendly front desk that even checked in with me after I settled in. Location was close to nice restaurants and the marina had gorgeous views of the bay. Plenty of free parking too!

So, I needed a place for just me to crash for a night while I was in town. The room was clean, and shockingly comfortable, kind of like a softer bed version of what you’d expect at a cheap motel. They even had a small fridge and microwave in my room, which was a nice touch for late-night snacks, and trust me, in my line of work, those snacks are essential. And the staff were great, super friendly, they even asked about my day when I checked in. Really made a difference.

Likewise, the lack of complimentary toiletries means I had to ask for soap and shampoo at the front desk. Also, the train from the nearby station can be heard at times, which might disrupt light sleepers. Still, the ample free parking was a major advantage since I traveled by car.
